PITCH Summer Symposium on Supervision within Primary Care Behavioral Health!

This summer, there is an exciting virtual opportunity happening: The PITCH (Program for the Integrated Training of Counselors in Healthcare) Summer Symposium! I have had the pleasure of being a part of a HRSA Behavioral Health Workforce Education Training Grant with another university, The University of Texas at San Antonio. This training grant has focused on training masters level clinical mental health counseling trainees at behavioral health consultants in primary care (i.e., the Primary Care Behavioral Health/PCBH consultation model). This 4-year grant will be coming to an end this summer so we are excited to celebrate the end of this grant with reflections of what we have learned with clinical training of behavioral health (BH) trainees in primary care as well as future directions in PCBH training for pre-licensure BH trainees.
The panel line up is AMAZING – leaders from the PCBH world to share their thoughts on how to train the next generation of BH trainees in PCBH! This virtual event is FREE (yes, FREE) with CEUs available for licensed BH professionals. It is on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10am-1pm (CST). I hope to see you there!
